BÜHLMANN Laboratories AG signs worldwide OEM agreement for Gentian’s Cystatin C immunoassay
The agreement between BÜHLMANN Laboratories and Gentian will allow to sell the Gentian Cystatin C immunoassay as a BÜHLMANN Laboratories labelled product on a worldwide basis.Gentian supplies improved diagnostic tests for the clinical laboratory market. Cystatin C immunoassay for renal function is more accurate that existing cystatin C tests and has a very strong correlation with iohexol clearance. In 2007, and within two years of release, the Gentian Cystatin C test became the leading cystatin C test in the Swedish healthcare market. more

INFINITI™: Automated Multiplexing Molecular Diagnostics Solution!
The INFINITI™ analyser is an automated, multiplexing microarray platform that integrates all discrete test processes such as sample handling, reagent management, hybridisation and detection for the analysis of DNA and proteins. The analyser features a built-in confocal microscope with two lasers, a thermal stringency station and a temperature cycler for denaturing nucleic acids for allele-specific primer extension.
The INFINITI™ analyser has been designed to operate on a „Load & Go“ concept. To run an application the operator generates a work list, loads samples, BioFilmChip™ microarray magazines as well as Intellipac™ and other reagent modules and walks away: Load & Go!
